Detached three-bay two-storey farm house, built c.1880, with single-bay two-storey outbuilding addition to north gable, recent lean-to extension to rear (west) elevation and flat roofed porch to front. Pitched slate roof with rendered gable chimneystacks, cast-iron and uPVC rainwater goods, and render copings. Painted smooth rendered walls. Square-headed openings with one-over-one timber sliding sash windows having stone and concrete sills. Square-headed opening with timber panelled glazed door. Attached two-storey outbuilding having pitched corrugated-iron roof, painted rubble stone walls, external steps leading to first floor to north gable and replacement fittings to openings. Pair of single-storey outbuildings to east.

A fine farm house which is an excellent example of the pride taken in the construction of traditional buildings in the past. Its position in the landscape gives it fine views in all directions. Despite some alterations, it retains much of its character and charm.
