Detached two-bay single-storey gate lodge, built c.1880, now disused. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rubble stone walls with races of roughcast render. Square-headed openings to windows with concrete lintels, stone sills and cast-iron lattice work frames. Pointed arch window to east gable elevation with cast-iron lattice frame. Square-headed opening to entrance with concrete lintel and tooled limestone steps.

This modestly sized building displays fine workmanship and decorative details. Interestingly, its pointed arch window with diamond panes is suggestive of its function as part of a religious related group. It forms part of a group of related structures with the former rectory and Church of Ireland church to the north-east.
