Enclosure in Gour

In rough hill pasture, in partially cutaway bog at the NE end of a valley. A roughly oval area (14m N-S; 7m E-W), largely overgrown by long moor grass, is defined by stones (Wth 0.4m; H 0.3m) exposed by turf-cutters and protruding intermittently above the surface of the remaining bog. Two upright stones (H 0.65m; 0.4m x 0.25m; H 0.45m; 0.25m x 0.2m) on the SW side indicate the entrance (Wth 0.65m). A possible standing stone (CO1127-060002-) and a hut site (CO1127-060001-) are c. 20m and c. 40m to the S, respectively.
