Enclosure in Coumaraglinmountain

Located on flat ground at the base of a W-facing slope of the Monavullagh Mountains, with rock outcrop exposed on the perimeter at SE. Subrectangular grass-covered area (int. dims. 35m E-W; 31.5m N-S) defined by a collapsed, grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.5-3.5m) reduced to a scarp (H 0.7m) at W. The entrance (Wth 1.2m) at N is defined by a single stone (L 1.5m) on its W side with a cupmark on its E face. No internal features are visible. (Moore 1995, 195-6, 224, 241, E3) This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
