What is recorded here

Situated on the crest of an E-W ridge. The site appears as a possible circular quarry on the 1st ed. (1841) OS 6-inch map and is partially hachured on the 1904 ed. Not visible at ground level. A large quarry now occupies this location. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
