Situated atop low natural rise on poorly drained grassland. No surface remains visible of enclosure depicted on 1912 ed. OS 6-inch map but not indicated on 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map. On the latter map a house site is indicated roughly in the area where the earthwork is depicted. Outline of D-shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 27m NE-SW; 29m NW-SE) visible on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
