What is recorded here

Situated at the crest of the S-facing slope of a small N-S ridge. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 30.5m E-W; 29m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. and ext. H 1m), with internal and external stone-facing, which is reduced to a scarp E-S. There is no visible entrance but the outer fosse (Wth c. 2m; D 0.3-0.6m) is complete. Rath (WA022-019----) is c. 90m to the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
