Located on the crest of a NW-SE drumlin ridge. A circular enclosure is depicted here only on the 1859 revision of the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map. No archaeological feature is visible on aerial images at this location. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
