What is recorded here

According to Fitzgerald (1899-1902, 64), in 1788, a rectangular cist (L c. 1.53m; Wth c. 1.22m) was discovered in a garden at Calverstown. It contained a crouched inhumation accompanied by a bowl foodvessel placed close to the head. The precise location of the burial is unknown.(Waddell 1970, 119) Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 14 May 2013
