Church in Linfield — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Within burial ground (LI024-010002-). There is no obvious surface trace of a church here nor is one marked on the OS six-inch maps. However, according to the OS Letter Books (O'Flanagan 1929, 42) this was the site 'of the old Church of this Parish' (Aglishcormick) though 'not a vestige now remains.' According to Westropp (1904-5, 455) the church was called 'Roilig Choluimcille, or Teampul na Cairrge'. Holy well (LI024-010003-) c. 50m to W. Site described in 1840 as following; 'a very short distance south west of a rock called Carraig Choluim, there is a small burial ground now (almost) entirely out of use, called by the people variously, Roilig Choluim Cille, Teampull na Cairrge and Teampull Pairc na Cairrge.
