Square-plan limekiln, built c.1800, now disused. Roughly dressed limestone walls with ashlar voussoirs to segmental-arch opening. Built into limestone outcrop.
This is an interesting example of an early nineteenth-century limekiln, located beside a quarry and built into limestone rock. The survival of the original form and fabric of this kiln make it a valuable contribution to the architectural heritage of Nobber.
