Single-arch canal bridge, built c.1845. Rock-faced voussoirs to segmental arch-ring, coursed stone walls with buttresses and ashlar parapets.
This bridge is both architecturally and technically significant due to its fine masonry work and combination of tooled and ashlar stone. It is of social relevance due to the recreational use of the canal since its restoration in recent years.
