Ballydulea House is a two-storey, three-bay, L-shaped house that has been altered over the years. In appearance it looks 19th-century but the thickness of the walls on the eastern part of the building along with a low-set squat internal door in the living room indicate that it may incorporate part of an earlier structure. A small house is shown on the Down Survey (1655-6) barony map in the approximate location of Ballydulea House so the house may incorporate the remains of a 17th-century building but there are no distinctive architectural features of that date evident in the present house.
