Five-arch limestone road-over-river bridge, built c. 1800, over the River Glyde. Random rubble stone spandrels and parapet walling, ashlar stringcourse at deck level, cut stone coping to parapets. Round-headed arches, dressed stone voussoirs, triangular cut stone cutwaters to north and south, with conical caps. Bitumen-surfaced roadway. Situated at edge of Annagassan.

Annagassan Bridge, built by traditional construction methods, is a fine stone bridge and a vital part of the villiagescape of Annagassan, marking the southern approach to the village. It is well detailed and the five arches strike a graceful note at the entrance to the village.
