What is recorded here
Pair of semi-detached three-bay single-storey former estate worker's houses, built c.1830, now privately owned. Pitched slate roofs with brick and rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Square-headed openings with sills and some timber sash windows. Square-headed door openings with replacement doors.
This pair of houses are part of a group with the two adjacent terraces of houses, which were built in the first half of the nineteenth century to house estate workers. These houses are of apparent architectural design and are laid out in a formal plan, to form an enclosed group.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
