What is recorded here
Cast-iron water pump, c.1850, with fluted and banded decoration. Floral collar to spout. Handle missing and pump now disused.
This elaborate water pump is larger than some roadside examples and adds to the character of the cottage garden and yard. Though now disused, it appears to remain in its original location and is a valuable social document in this extended canal-side group.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
