Remains of limestone viaduct, built 1891, over River Funshion. Square-profile rusticated limestone piers with rusticated buttresses and having buttresses with limestone copings.

This former viaduct spanning the River Funcheon formed part of the Fermoy-Mitchelstown line built 1891 by the Great Southern and Western Railway Company. The viaduct is solidly constructed with rusticated limestone piers and buttresses and is indicative of the quality of engineering and local craftsmen's skills in the late nineteenth century.
