This is a natural spring well now housed in a modern pump house. The well has no ecclesiastical associations and never had any patterns associated with it. This site is of no archaeological importance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
