Explorer Tom Church of the Annunciation Roman Catholic Church has caught my eye in Farranferris, County Cork. I bet a church/chapel with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
Dennehy’s Fish ShopHouse · 69 ydExplorer Tom Dennehy’s Fish Shop in Blackpool is a modest house from the 1740s with some steeply pitched roofs. It used to be a separate village before getting swallowed by the city. The terracotta ridge tiles are definitely making a splash on Great William O'Brien Street.
Wholesale StoresHouse · 97 ydExplorer Tom Wholesale Stores in Blackpool has red brick walls that look like they’re blushing. Built c.1880, the shopfront is very late Victorian fancy-pants. Take a photo of the gabled dormers for me!
The Rebel BarHouse · 143 ydExplorer Tom The Rebel Bar in Blackpool is a two-storey brick beast from the 1920s with a traditional shopfront. It’s painted over, hiding its true colors. It’s basically a pub pretending to be modest. Snap that red brick chimneystack!

I bet a children's playground with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
Madden’s BuildingsHouse · 214 ydExplorer Tom Madden’s Buildings are seventy-six back-to-back houses from 1886 in Blackpool. They were built to fix slum housing and look surprisingly nice with their terracotta ridges. There’s even a copper statue of a bull out there, which is a bit random!
store/warehouse250 ydExplorer Tom Store or warehouse in Blackpool is showing off its old bonded glory from the Watercourse Distillery days. It’s basically a big, silent witness to Cork’s whiskey history. Take a peek at it!
gate lodge297 ydExplorer Tom Gate lodge in Farranferris used to guard St Finbarr’s Seminary. Now it's a private house with polychromatic brickwork. Still looks like it expects you to bow.
Children's playground390 ydComputer-made picture. It does not show this playground.Explorer Tom Children's playground has caught my eye in County Cork. I bet a children's playground with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
Explorer Tom Ladys Well in Cork City has a shrine with a statue but no visible well anymore. It's not frequented on a holy well nowadays, which is sad. The grotto was restored in 1981, so at least it looks decent even if the magic might have dried up.
Explorer Tom Designed landscape in Cork City has got views from Callanan's Tower. The file's empty, but I bet the breeze up there is a real character. Take a pic of the horizon and tell me it doesn't look lonely.
Explorer Tom Lavitts Quay has caught my eye in County Cork. I bet a memorial with a name like that could keep me talking all afternoon; I'm already inventing a daft little scene for it, and I'll stop before it turns into history.
