Two-arch rubble limestone road bridge over railway line and stream, rebuilt 1850, possibly incorporating fabric of earlier bridge, pre-1840, on site. Random rubble limestone walls with rendered coping to parapets. Pair of segmental arches with cut-limestone voussoirs, and squared rubble stone soffits having render over. Sited spanning railway line and stream with overgrown grass banks to stream.

Representing an element of the civil engineering legacy of County Kilkenny an elegantly-composed modest-scale bridge exhibiting a traditional construction in unrefined locally-sourced stone makes a pleasing impression in the local landscape.
