Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1870, having gable-fronted porch flanked by flat-roofed two-storey canted bay windows, added c.1950, to front (south-west). Extensive recent extensions rear. Pitched slate roof having timber clad eaves course, rendered chimneystack, gable copings, cast-iron rainwater goods and recent rooflights. Pitched artificial slate roof to porch. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls throughout having channelled render quoin bands to front elevation. Render sill courses to canted bays. Square-headed window openings with render sills throughout, having one-over-one pane uPVC sliding sash windows. Square-headed door opening to porch having uPVC door with sidelights and overlight. Concrete piers with tubular steel railings enclosing site. Accessed via rendered descending steps.

An attractive roadside house which may have been associated with Danesfort Industrial School, located to the north. The later pair of full-height bays are interesting additions, while the lined-and-ruled render and slate roof add to its historic character.
