In rough upland pasture, on the N-facing side of a spur of outcropping rock, on the lower NE-facing slopes of Knockbrack Mountain. A rectangular area (5.1m E-W; 1.9m N-S) defined by an uncoursed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 1.5m) on the N, E and W sides and by the vertical face of the outcropping rock on the S side. There is an entrance (Wth 0.55m) in the N wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
