What is recorded here

Indicated is a ring-barrow on a Dublin hillock, overlooking the Liffey Valley from the grounds of Stewarts Hospital. Its circular platform rises eighty centimetres, bounded by a thirty-centimetre bank and filled with overgrowth across fifteen metres. It may be an ancient burial mound or merely the buried shadow of a long-dead tree ring. Either way, the hill still holds its shape, waiting for someone to remember what it marked.

Situated on a hillock, overlooking the Liffey Valley on the grounds of Stewarts Hospital. A circular raised platform (H 0.8m) defined by a slight bank (H 0.3m). A Neolithic passage tomb; dates to the early Bronze Age. Its location suggests a ceremonial or ritual significance in the ancient landscape overlooking the Liffey Valley.
