What is recorded here

Indicated is a 48-metre earthen ringfort on a Cork ridge, its western bank now buried under housing rubble while the eastern soil still holds a faint line of exposed stone. The fort has watched fields become gardens and gardens become streets, yet no one lives inside the circle anymore. What was defended or hidden there has moved into the walls and roads around it, leaving the empty ring to mark the shape of what disappeared.

In pasture, atop E-W ridge. Circular area (48m E-W) defined by earthen bank (H 1.7m) ESE->NW. Short section of external stone facing exposed. Interior level. New housing development immediately to NW; rubble dumped against W bank face. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
