Cairn is a cairn (clearance cairn) in Knockanacullin, County Waterford, Ireland. The 1989 record called it a mound because an aerial photograph showed a rounded shape. A 1989 inspection changed that identification and found a modern clearance cairn. The visible shape therefore records local stone clearing rather than an ancient burial or monument.

This record was formerly classed as 'Mound' in the SMR (1988) based on its appearance on an aerial photograph (GSIAP S 767-6). On inspection in 1989, it was found to be a modern clearance cairn. Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload/revision: 05 March 2009
