Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Kilbegnet, County Roscommon, Ireland. The D-shaped site sits towards the bottom of a north-facing slope and measures roughly thirty-three metres east-west by twenty-two metres north-south. A low scarp and slight earthen bank define its perimeter, while a field bank and hedge truncate the southern edge. Another rath lies about one hundred ninety metres to the southwest.
Marked as a D-shaped embanked area (dims c. 40m N-S; c. 30m E-W) curtailed by a N-S field bank at E on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map (GA 019), and as a D-shaped area (dims c. 30m E-W; c. 20m N-S) curtailed by an E-W field bank at S on the 1927 ed. (RO038). Situated towards the bottom of a N-facing slope. D-shaped scrub-covered area (dims 33.4m ENE-WSW; 22.2m NNW-SSE) defined by a scarp (H 0.2-0.8m) W-N-E, with a slight earthen bank (Wth 2.8m; H 0.45m) on the perimeter at ENE. The monument is truncated by an ENE-WSW field bank and hedge at S and cannot be seen S of this. Rath (RO038-029----) is c. 190m to the SW.
