In NE quadrant of an early ecclesiastical enclosure (GA007-068001-). All that is visible is a partially overgrown irregular hollow (E-W 5m, N-S 3m), dry at time of visit, with some thorn trees growing in it. St. Michael's Well is traditionally associated with St. Michael the Archangel, a figure venerated in Christian tradition for protection and healing. Holy wells dedicated to him were often visited for cures related to respiratory ailments and general protection from illness.
