Freestanding moulded concrete telephone box, erected c.1965, standing to front of Glinsk Post Office. Cream painted sides and door, with green to edges. Small panes to each side, door being replacement with single sheet of perspex. Set into low rendered wall.
This telephoe box is one of the few surviving now that Eircom have taken most of them out of service. It was built by the Department of Posts and Telegraphs before the sell-off the private enterprise.
