On a low-lying landscape. Oval grass and rush-covered area (dims 44.7m E-W; 32.8m N-S defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 2.8-4.4m; int. H 0.1-0.45m; ext. H 0.7-1.2m) separated by an overgrown rounded fosse (Wth of top 7-7.8m; Wth of base 3.7-4.3m; D 0.5-0.65m) from an outer bank (Wth 3.7-5.2m; H 0.45-0.65m) SE-W-NNW, while the inner bank is reduced to a scarp (H 0.4-0.7m) NNE-SE. There is no identifiable original entrance (max. surviving diam. 56.8m N-S; 55.5m E-W).
