Gallán is a square standing stone in County Cork, Ireland, rising 1.1m above rough grazing on a south-facing slope. It predates the 1842 and 1904 maps, yet remains unmarked on both, suggesting human hands or memory erased it long before surveyors arrived. A fulacht fiadh sits 40m to the southeast, hinting that cooking, ceremony or gathering once animated this quiet ground. The stone narrows toward the top and aligns northwest to southeast, as if pointing deliberately across the landscape rather than falling randomly into it.

Not marked on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. In rough grazing, on S-facing slope, fulacht fiadh (11073) c. 40m to SSE. Stone (H 1.1m; 0.65m x 0.63m) is square in plan, narrowing towards top; long axis NW-SE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
