Detached L-plan three-bay two-storey presbytery, built c. 1865, with gable-fronted projecting east bay to front elevation, pitched roofed porch to west gable, slightly lower two-storey addition to angle of blocks, and recent flat-roofed garage extension to north-west having further pitched-roof addition. Pitched artificial slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls with render plinth course and having render plat band to first floor sill level to front and east elevations. Pointed segmental-headed window openings with two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows, paired to projecting bay and south bay of east elevation, all with render sills and window porch having stained glass. Pointed segmental-headed door opening to porch with timber panelled door, concrete step and stained-glass overlight. Rendered boundary walls to road with cast-iron square-profile piers having floral motifs and chamfered corners, moulded caps and ball finials, and decorative double-leaf cast-iron gates.
This presbytery forms a group of related structures with the church to the south. Its Gothic inspired form is characteristic of buildings of its type and time and is evident in such features as the pointed arched openings and multiple gables. The façade is asymmetrical but regular and the regularity is accentuated by the platband and projecting bay. The retention of timber sash windows is a notable feature, particularly the stained-glass porch window, which is a further indication of the ecclesiastical nature of the building.
