Fulacht fia in Gurteenard

In partially reclaimed tillage. Low, irregular mound of burnt material (22m N-S; 17m E-W; H 0.12m); drain cuts through S end. Possibly the fulacht fiadh recorded by Bowman (134, 207) on M. Bourke's land. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
