Situated on flat pasture in an upland area with nearby enclosure sites (TN029-046/047/048) to the E. Probably destroyed between 1840 and 1904 as the site is depicted on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map (Stout 1984, 40). Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
