Situated on a low rise of ground at the base of a W-facing slope in an upland area with a nearby enclosure site (TN029-044) to the SSE. Not visible at ground level. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
