What is recorded here

Promontory fort stands on the County Cork coast where land stops abruptly and sea takes over. Its stones mark a boundary drawn before written memory, likely watched or defended against people arriving from the water. The fort still faces the sea, unchanged in its purpose even if its makers have vanished.
