Stone pier, built c. 1885, running north-south from harbour to south, having concrete and cast-iron addition to north end. Cut stone walls and integral staircases to west elevation, cut stone coping stones and rusticated walls to east elevation.
Carefully cut stone evidence of skill of stone cutters and stone masons at turn of the century. Although undergoing alterations, much fabric survives. Important part of maritime heritage of Ballycotton.
