Roadside, immediately S of graveyard (14567). Indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map as rectangular structure named 'Parochial School', second structure, indicated at right angles, to S. Rectangular single-storey structure (long axis NW-SE) survives as residential house. Entrance front (NE) of 5 bays; central rectangular door; sash windows. Gable-ended with attic window in SE gable, large central chimney stack. Small stone-built addition to rear with corrugated iron roof. According to Eldridge (1996, 76), 'served as a primary school in the 1840s'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
