Freestanding double-arch lime kiln, built c. 1800, with rubble sandstone walls and segmental-arched openings with dressed sandstone voussoirs. Now disused. Set into hill.
This lime kiln is of significance as an important historic and social artifact, evidence of a vernacular craft and tradition that is now lost. It retains its original form and detailing and is typically set into the hillside.
