What is recorded here

This ogham stone was found built into a low wall in the cathedral by John Windele (FitzGerald 1854-5, 230-1), and is now in the National Museum of Ireland (DU018-248----). The inscription reads ...]NACI MAQI [... (Macalister 1945, vol. 1, 260). Another stone was found built into the E wall of St Declan’s Oratory and is now displayed in the chancel of the cathedral (WA040-008005-). A third stone (WA040-008007-) was found beside a grave and is now also on display in the cathedral. (Moore 1999, 1481) This stone has been studied as part of the ‘Ogham in 3D’ project undertaken by the School of Celtic Studies, Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.
