Situated on flat poorly drained land with a nearby mound (TN029-023001) to SE. A low flat-topped circular earthen platform (H 0.3m; diam. 7m) with no evidence of an enclosing fosse or earthen bank. Possibly a natural rise of ground. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
