What is recorded here

Situated in low-lying terrain, sloping gently to the N in pastureland. A tower house (TN021-024001) is located c. 160m to the E. A roughly square, denuded enclosure (41m N-S; 43.2m E-W) defined by a bank reduced to a scarp (int. H 0.16m; ext. H 0.66m) and a flat-bottomed, waterlogged fosse (Wth 4.2m; D 0.26m). Shallow gap (Wth 2.6m) through bank in SE angle. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
