Megalithic structure in Garranebane

Located in rocky grazing land, on the NW slopes of Bentee mountain, a slab of roughly triangular elevation with a straight top stands .65m high and measures 1.3m x .1m at base; N-S. Its W face features a large, circular depression which measures .17m x .15m in diameter and is .12m deep. Abutting its E face and inclining heavily to N is a long slab. At its N end, 2.5m from the upright slab, are a couple of prostrate, largely sod-covered slabs. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
