Murphy's in Cahersiveen needs timber pillars and brackets to hold up the grand ledge over its pub front. Inside, one lad can hold up the entire evening with “Now, to give you the short version.”
Terraced three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1900, with timber pilaster shopfront to ground floor having consoles and moulded cornice. Also in use as public house. Steeply pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Painted ruled-and-lined rendered walls. Thin concrete sills to replacement aluminium windows. Street frontage.
