Mass-rock in Camaghy,tonaneeve

Located in the valley of a rapid NW-SE stream, it is situated in Tonaneeve townland c. 5m from the E bank of a N-S section of the stream just before the stream turns E. A flat triangular stone (dims 1.3m x 0.7m; T 0.15m) is set on a piece of rock outcrop (total H 0.8m). A single piece of stone (L c. 5m; Wth c. 1m; T 0.2m) crosses the stream to the W side where a natural corrie in Camaghy townland provides a sloping terrace for the congregation. It is known as the Splink (Ó Gallachair 1957, 122), probably derived from the Irish splinc meaning an elevated point.
