Man-made underground passage

In SW quadrant of cashel (8824). Noted by Hartnett (1939, 72). McCarthy (1977, 294) described stone-built passage (L 3.6m; Wth 0.6m; H 1.21m), roofed with lintels, which expands at SW end to form oval stone-built chamber (L 1.82m; Wth 1.52m) with earth-cut roof.
