Man-made underground passage in Monaneague

Power (1923, 179) records site of 'demolished lios' (CO064-130---) 'which had Man-made underground passages' on Maurice Walsh's holding. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994).
