In pasture, on NW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (51.5m E-W; 46.5m N-S) enclosed by substantial earthen bank (H 1.95m) with external fosse (D 1.9m) NE->W. Gap in bank to E; entrance to N. Trackway runs outside bank to N.
