Lisnaboul is a vanished fairy fort in County Cork, reduced to a slight depression on a gentle south-facing slope. O Ríordáin saw a single-ramparted lios there in 1931, but even that edge has softened into pasture and memory. The site still carries the shape of a boundary, as if the earth remembers a wall people no longer draw.
