Gallauns is a destroyed boulder-burial in County Cork where a large rounded stone rested above four support stones until disappearance by 1983. It belongs to the old western landscape of heavy stones, hidden death and human memory. What is missing now makes the place sharper, because the ground still carries the shape of what was taken or lost.

Portal dolmen; likely dates to the Neolithic period (c. 4000–2500 BCE). Its significance lies in representing a type of early megalithic monument associated with communal burial and ritual practices in Ireland.
