In pasture near top of hill. Rectangular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842); circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1904). Rectangular area (40.7m N-S; 33m E-W) distinguished by stunted growth of crop. Man-made underground passage (CO096-01702-) in centre. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
